Imagine a morning. A slow one, you know? When the city outside lazily awakens, and you hold a cup of aromatic coffee in your hands. An important thought is brewing in your mind. You absolutely know what you should do. Right now. So you don’t end up regretting it later or blaming yourself for lost time. Sound familiar? I'm sure it does. After all, each of us has faced this strange phenomenon: "I know what I need to do, but for some reason, I don’t." Today we’ll talk about what makes us stall in place, having all the cards in hand to move forward. So sit back, it’s going to be interesting.
I recently had the chance to experience James Gunn’s Superman on the big screen — the way it’s meant to be seen. Before the film they even showed a trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey, which hasn’t even been released online yet. It felt like a sign from above, considering how Nolan once revitalized the superhero genre with his Batman films in the 2000s – or at the very least, played a major role in shaping the genre as we know it today.
Belgium is remarkable in itself for its mix of cultures and the presence of several languages – English, French and, of course, Dutch and even German. People come to this country to relax, unwind, admire the architecture and, of course, to have a great time which isn’t hard to do in Belgium.
We often associate confidence with external achievements: "When I get a promotion, then I will feel confident", "When I have my own apartment, then I will become a confident person". It is an internal, deeply bodily sensation that forms long before we start chasing external attributes of success.
In summer everything becomes a little brighter, a little warmer and perhaps a little more joyful. No country is an exception to this rule, and a perfect example of that is Bulgaria. Besides the abundance of Russian-speaking tourists, beautiful beaches and countless cats, it also feels like the center of the universe.
A few months ago, the world learned that Disney is preparing to release the third installment in the Tron franchise. Each film in the series takes place in a different time period — for example, the first movie was released back in 1982, while the sequel came out in 2010, bringing Jeff Bridges, the legend of this sci-fi universe, back to the screen.
There was something unusual and original about films from the 2010s — a decade when, on one hand, Hollywood was already being taken over by blockbusters and superhero movies, while on the other, some studios and directors were still trying to create original content, telling compelling stories for a wide audience.
It has happened. The world has finally seen its beloved alien from another galaxy — Kal-El in the flesh — on the big screen. Or, as you know him, Superman.
Many film directors start their journey with a successful acting career before moving behind the camera to lead the filmmaking process. Johnny Depp is no exception to this rule.
Back in 2015, when Kingsman was released, the world fell in love with the young and promising Taron Egerton, the actor who played the lead role in the British spy action film. However, his career didn’t stop there — over the next five years, he went on to portray Robin Hood, Elton John, and even voiced a gorilla in Sing.
