FIND FIVE DISTINCTIONS or Why Health Is Not a Patchwork Quilt

Look at this picture.

On one half of this photo there is the face of a healthy person. On the other is that of a sick person. Even a hedgehog can tell who is who. But still, if we delve into the details, what distinguishes these two photographs?

  • The healthy person looks relaxed — nothing is bothering him. The sick person is clearly tense, possibly because he is in pain.  
  • The healthy person appears balanced and even. The sick person’s face is distorted, and he is clearly out of balance.  
  • The healthy person is full of strength and in a resourceful state. The sick person looks weak and exhausted.  
  • The appearance of the healthy person is evidently prosperous. He has a good skin tone. The sick person looks unwell.  
  • Finally, the healthy person radiates joyful calmness. He is stable. The sick person is clearly in anxiety and stress.  

Perhaps someone might find other differences, but the main distinctions are five.

Our whole life is about balancing on a tightrope between health and illness. Illness always makes itself known clearly and loudly through various symptoms. And when we are healthy, we usually do not notice it. Health is our natural state. We simply feel good and that’s it.

But, as it turns out, health also has “symptoms”. And it is very important to know them. Because to achieve a goal, you must understand what it looks like.

So, a healthy person appears:

• Relaxed

• Balanced

• Strong

• Well-nourished and Rosy

• Emotionally stable

THAT IS, HEALTH IS A COMPLEX THING, CONSISTING OF 5 COMPONENTS

All of these characteristics can be achieved independently by applying the appropriate methods. But not separately, but together. It is necessary to engage the body to work at all its levels: mechanical, biochemical, metabolic, psycho-emotional, and mental. In this way, you can ‘fuse’ it into a unified functional system.

SO THE ALGORITHM OF HEALTH EXISTS!

And all you need is motivation and a methodical sequence to apply it.

In our view, the main problem of modernity is that people lack clear health guidelines. Different corporations, offering a variety of products and services, are interested in making their product the embodiment of health.

That is why completely different things are associated with health by people. For some, it is medications or dietary supplements; for others, various food products, such as yogurt with probiotics or Borjomi water. For others, health means various exercise equipment or swimming pools. For some, it is yoga or meditation. In short, whoever’s image appears brighter and is more aggressively promoted—sets the health trend.

In fact, there is nothing wrong with drinking Borjomi or practicing yoga. But that is not enough to be healthy. And, as we mentioned above, it is important to follow the 5 steps to health.

So why are they so important?

 1. Throughout life, we encounter various traumatic situations: physical, emotional, toxic… And this traumatic experience accumulates in the body as tension. For example, if you sit at the computer for an extended period, chronic tension develops in the neck area. And after years, tension permeates our entire body, and we find ourselves unable to relax. As a result, we lose strength and become increasingly fatigued.

It is necessary to eliminate tension in the body. This can be done independently, for instance, by practicing yoga or going to a sauna. Or various therapeutic methods can be used for relaxation, such as trigger point massage, acupuncture, or craniosacral therapy. And as a result, our body becomes RELAXED.

2. The next problem: due to improper loads, our body becomes asymmetrical, and joint blockages and subluxations arise from uneven work.

In this case, you can bring yourself into a balanced state by engaging in some symmetrical activity. For example, swimming, exercises on a horizontal bar, or using the Evminov board.

You can also consult specialists who apply osteopathy, wave gymnastics, and special therapeutic equipment for this purpose.

As a result, the patient’s body becomes BALANCED.

3. In order to maintain a maximally symmetrical body in balance, a muscular corset is needed.

This refers not to the aesthetically pleasing muscles that are built in the gym, but to the deep layer muscles. They are strengthened through static exercises, such as the ‘plank’ position or training on a balance board.

To create a muscular corset, specialists can also recommend stabilizing gymnastics and electromyostimulation. As a result, the muscles become STRONG.

4. The next important point: nutrition. It is impossible to be healthy if you eat randomly and carelessly. This leads to a deficiency of nutrients and building components, while excess weight overloads the joints, worsens blood circulation, and, as a result, disrupts the delivery of nutrients to the tissues.

Therefore, it is extremely important to control weight, stimulate circulation, and provide the body with all the necessary components.

With the help of a specialist, one can develop an individualized diet and prescribe supplements to strengthen cartilage and vitamins.

As a result, the body becomes NOURISHED with everything it needs.

5. And the last crucial component of health: emotional stability and the ability to withstand stress. In the modern world, we are constantly in a field of stress, often without even noticing it. Whether it’s war or a pandemic… Stress is the overstretching of the nerve coordination centers in the brain due to operating at extremely high RPMs. The result of stress is exhaustion, weakness, apathy, and emotional instability. To reduce stress, it is best to switch to other types of activities and engage more with the natural elements: water, earth, air, fire.

In clinical settings, Anti-Stress Therapy can be applied, which includes breathing exercises and Mindfulness-based healing meditations.

As a result, one gains emotional STABILITY and stress resistance.

This means that achieving a state of Health can be done both independently and with the help of various specialized professionals.

There is also one important topic I would like to discuss.

In order to perform any movement in the body, it is first necessary for the thought of it to arise in the mind. Then, we must want to carry out this intention. After that, a neurochemical impulse must be formed, which will activate various biomechanical structures. As a result of all this, the familiar movement of the body occurs.

Thus, for a simple movement to emerge, coordinated work of the body is necessary simultaneously across several completely heterogeneous planes:

• Mental

• Emotional

• Biochemical

• Energetic

• Mechanical

And these are not just sequential steps. They are, rather, a unified functional chain. A malfunction at any of these levels will lead to a disruption of the entire chain.

Similarly, the 5 components of Health form a single chain of actions. To reiterate, these 5 components can only be developed by engaging the body at all its levels: mechanical, energetic, biochemical, emotional, and mental, thus ‘fusing’ it into a unified functional system.

Health is not a “patchwork quilt”, but rather a “fusion” of all beneficial activities, habits and trends.
