Two cats were sitting on a fence, and one cat asked the other:
— Why are you sad?
— I’m not sad.
— I can see that you are.
— I don’t know.
— You do know. I just don’t know exactly.
— I don’t want to know.
— Why?
— It’s sad when thoughts appear. Without them, I’m never sad.
— So you blame your thoughts?
— I don’t blame anyone, but there must be a reason I feel sad.
— What kind of thoughts?
— The thoughts tell me they’re no longer needed. They want to step aside… they want me to be free.
— Free?
— To feel alive. To feel the moment flowing. Because if you think in the moment — the moment is already gone.
— What do you feel?
— Peace.
— I’m glad to hear that.
— And I’m glad to feel it.
— Peace?
— The moment.
