Spy stories have always had a magnetic pull. They’re like forbidden fruit or the urge to ride a motorcycle — curiosity always outweighs the fear of death. When you’re racing at 300 kilometers per hour, you’re hardly thinking about whether you turned off the kettle or how much money you have left for food.
Adrenaline is the most desired drug for many healthy people — just like it is for James Bond, though, of course, women and martinis might rank a bit higher.

After the release of No Time to Die in 2021, the Broccoli family handed over the franchise rights to MGM Studios, which finally got the chance to “spread its wings” and squeeze everything it could from the franchise.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has already signed a deal with Omega watches, which might hint at his involvement in future films. Recently, the studio also released the first trailer for the Bond game 007: First Light, telling the story of Bond’s early years as a secret intelligence agent.

The trailer mentions the death of his parents, his unbearable personality, and the incredible skills he showcases more than once in the footage. It’s filled to the brim with stunning shots of nature, various locations, and, of course, action — which may suggest that this game could offer something the films never did.

Maybe it’s epic battles, maybe breathtaking visuals—or maybe it’s simply a new story. Modern, dangerous, but insanely captivating. Just like Bond. James Bond.
