Back in 2015, when Kingsman was released, the world fell in love with the young and promising Taron Egerton, the actor who played the lead role in the British spy action film. However, his career didn’t stop there — over the next five years, he went on to portray Robin Hood, Elton John, and even voiced a gorilla in Sing.
In 2022, the series Black Bird premiered, further solidifying Egerton’s success.
And now, the trailer for his latest film has just been released.
She Rides Shotgun tells the story of a father and daughter who are being hunted by mysterious government agents. The main character’s mission is to keep himself and the girl safe — a daunting task, yet one that he must fulfill, because a father’s duty is to protect his child.
The trailer looks stylish and vibrant, and alongside Egerton, the film also features Rob Young and John Carroll Lynch.
Will the father succeed in his mission, and how will the story end? We’ll find out on August 1st, when the film hits cinemas.
