Five years after the release of The Gentlemen by Guy Ritchie, Matthew McConaughey doesn’t seem to appear on Hollywood’s big screens as often. Why is that?
Some believe the actor is planning to pursue a political career, while others assume he’s simply waiting for the right script to bring to life.

The movie star often appears on podcasts and various talk shows to answer questions from viewers or interviewers. He also writes books and actively runs his Instagram page, where, by the way, he recently posted a photoshoot featuring many shots of McConaughey in different poses and outfits — though it’s unclear what the photoshoot was actually for.

McConaughey also stars in a new film titled The Lost Bus, directed by Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Evolution, News of the World). In the film, Matthew plays the lead role. The story is based on the 2018 California wildfires, and, by the way, the movie is already available to stream on Apple TV+.

So if you’re a fan of the actor, don’t miss it!
