Netflix recently released The Rip, starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, which tells the story of the Miami police’s fight against a drug cartel after one of the main characters receives a message about a huge sum of money hidden in a building owned by a Colombian woman.

Alongside Affleck and Damon, the film also stars Kyle Chandler, Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, and others.
The detective blockbuster stands out in the true spirit of Affleck and Damon and their studio Artists Equity, as the film breaks many stereotypes about cop movies — who the traitor is, whether there are police officers without weaknesses, and how all of this is interconnected.

In today’s world, finding truly original cinema is not easy, but some studios and stars still manage to deliver, and Joe Carnahan’s film is no exception. Don’t miss it!
