Back at the end of last year everyone was surprised and intrigued by the news of a new film from A24 directed by Ari Aster — especially after the announcement that none other than Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone and even Austin Butler would be starring in the leading roles.
A few months ago, a short but original teaser styled like an Instagram “reel” generated even more hype. And after the film’s premiere at Cannes, many began calling it the new ideal of the Western genre — and, generally, a very impressive film.

Recently, the official trailer was released — longer than the teaser and showing more footage. We learn the film’s premise: in 2020, during the pandemic, a conflict unfolds between a sheriff and a mayor in the Wild West — and that’s when everything begins.

“Eddington” hits theaters on July 18, so be sure to watch it on the big screen, share your thoughts and, as the film’s main line goes, “remember, this is no coincidence”.
