Star Wars continues to grow bigger and more detailed with each passing year — much like the universe itself. Disney+ has recently released a trailer for the animated series Maul: Shadow Lord, which follows the dangerous adventures of the main characters and their confrontation with none other than Darth Maul, who is also being hunted by the Empire at the same time.
The trailer features stunning planetary visuals with a touch of cyberpunk, the familiar stormtroopers, and, of course, new characters who promise to be just as compelling as the show’s dark central figure — who survived his battle with Obi-Wan Kenobi, first shown in The Phantom Menace (1999).
The animated series will premiere on April 6, so now is the perfect time to dive deeper into the characters, explore their comic-book backstories, and revisit the Star Wars saga in general.
