Surprisingly, it all began at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this year. Julia Roberts won the award for Best Actress for After the Hunt, and shortly after, the audience erupted into thunderous applause, celebrating the legendary actress and her victory.
George Clooney and Don Cheadle also appeared on stage together in one of the categories — the two famously starred side by side in the Ocean’s trilogy.

Cheadle jokingly pointed out that Clooney did not win anything this time, unlike Julia. Notably, Roberts herself also played one of the leading roles in the Ocean’s films.

Since mid-last year, rumors have been circulating online that George Clooney and Brad Pitt would return for a fourth installment. Recently, however, it was officially confirmed that not only the iconic duo, but the entire main cast will return for the new film.

The upcoming movie will bring back Matt Damon’s character along with the rest of the stars, and will most likely focus on the aging protagonists and how they deal with challenges not only from law enforcement, but also from their own “age-related limitations”.

Filming is set to begin very soon, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on further updates.
