Every year, certain films are released that radically transform cinema and our previous perception of it. In the internet era, where content is pouring in from every direction, it’s especially difficult for directors and producers to truly surprise an audience. And yet, some still manage to do just that.
The teaser trailer for Superman, released last year, broke nearly every superhero movie record and gained an enormous number of views across all platforms. However, soon after, various unflattering rumors about the studio and the film itself began to circulate online. Some claimed that producers were unhappy with the final cut, while others said that test audiences didn’t like what they saw.

The new trailer, however, seems to have dispelled many of these rumors. Not only has it been well received by many viewers, but it’s also racked up a new wave of views and revealed fresh footage from the film.

The entire trailer centers around an interview between Lois Lane and Superman (aka Clark Kent), where she questions him about his recent actions that have sparked public outrage.

Lex Luthor, Krypto the Superdog, a host of new superheroes, and of course, James Gunn’s incredible visual style — the film is set to hit cinemas this June. Don’t miss it, because now is the perfect time to learn how to fly — not just for yourself, but for all of humanity.
