This summer is shaping up to be a truly hot one — and not just in terms of record-breaking weather, but also on the big screen. In Hollywood, it’s long been a tradition to release multimillion-dollar blockbusters during the summer season. These films often rake in close to, or over, a billion dollars at the box office, giving studios fresh opportunities to bring their visions to life.
This year, Brad Pitt will hit the screen in Formula 1 at the end of June. While many are calling him Hollywood’s last true movie star, the film itself comes with a massive budget — reportedly over $200 million — which has clearly ensured stunning visuals. Hopefully, the story will be just as compelling.

In July, we’re expecting two major premieres: James Gunn’s Superman and Marvel’s Fantastic Four. These two superhero giants will go head-to-head in a battle for box office dominance and the attention of action-hungry audiences.

Both films revisit well-known stories, but with new details and fresh takes on the characters’ origins. After all, Superman and the Fantastic Four have been among the most beloved comic book heroes for generations.
Also releasing in early July is Jurassic World: Rebirth starring Scarlett Johansson. The film picks up after the Chris Pratt trilogy, following a new mission to track down all remaining dinosaur species on Earth — creatures that could pose a threat to humanity.

Of course, these aren’t the only exciting releases this summer. So we wish you luck in finding your own personal cinematic highlight — and an unforgettable movie experience at the theater.
