The Spider-Man trilogy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe still remains one of the most interesting, exciting, and most importantly — positive and inspiring parts of the MCU. Few films have portrayed teenage life as engagingly as Homecoming did, and continued the story of Peter Parker — played by fan favorite Tom Holland — in 2019 and 2021.
For some time, discussions about a fourth installment had gone quiet, but now, in 2025, filming of the new movie has finally begun. As is known, Spider-Man in this story will be a more mature young man living in New York, with one of his allies being the Hulk, and possibly Daredevil as well.

As for the villain, it’s still unclear who will be the main antagonist of the film. However, fans speculate that it could be Mister Negative — who appeared in Insomniac’s 2018 video game — as well as Scorpion, played by Michael Mando in Homecoming.

In behind-the-scenes photos and footage, we can see how much Tom has grown over the past eight years, as well as get a great look at Spidey’s new suit — classic, yet still eye-catching and vibrant.

What are your thoughts? Are you excited for the new story of the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man?
