A trailer was recently released for the neo-western action film Thieves Highway, which tells the story of an aging “cowboy”, Frank, who decides to stand up to the criminals terrorizing his small town — and, if possible, survive them.
Aaron Eckhart never quite became the major movie star many predicted after Thank You for Smoking and Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight in 2008. Instead, he chose to focus on indie projects and B-action films.

Over the course of his career, he has worked with Clint Eastwood, Nolan, and many other acclaimed directors, but in recent years he hasn’t appeared in the headlines very often.

Thieves Highway may turn out to be an intriguing adventure about a man who’s no longer young, but who still has principles and dignity — and perhaps, the strength to accomplish his goal.

The film hits theaters on December 12, and will later be available on VOD. What do you think?
