A trailer for Wild Horse has recently been released, directed by the acclaimed screenwriter, filmmaker, and playwright Martin McDonagh, known for In Bruges, The Banshees of Inisherin, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (which earned Sam Rockwell an Academy Award), among other highly acclaimed films.
The film tells the story of two agents in the 1970s — one older and one younger — played by John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell. The cast also includes Steve Buscemi and Parker Posey.
The plot focuses on a secret mission leading up to the Chilean coup d’état of 1973. The main characters, FBI agents, encounter two young female protesters, while also confronting their own “dark past,” according to the film’s synopsis.
Production stills have also been released.
The film is set to premiere on November 6, and there is strong hope that audiences are in for another witty, intelligent, deep, and captivating story from this beloved filmmaker.
