The sequel to The Batman by Matt Reeves took three years to complete its full screenplay, and now it will require another year to finish production before arriving in cinemas next year, most likely in winter.
Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson are officially joining the cast as Harvey Dent and Gilda Dent. Colin Farrell is also expected to return as The Penguin, alongside Barry Keoghan reprising his role as The Joker.

The plot remains completely under wraps, but the studio recently released official photos from the production set, revealing part of the Batmobile and what appears to be a chase sequence.

In addition, officially it is known that film will take place sometime in Winter, which may hint at the film’s color palette and overall atmosphere. Some fans believe the movie will draw inspiration from Batman: The Long Halloween, the iconic 1993 storyline, while others speculate that it could finally introduce Robin to audiences.

Whatever the case may be, we wish the filmmakers the best of luck — and the fans plenty of patience!
