It’s not harmful to dream, it’s harmful not to dream.

No matter what you dream about, start working on it! And then real miracles will start happening in your life! (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)

“It’s not harmful to dream” — did you hear this answer from your parents in childhood, when you expressed your desires out loud, which they could not fulfill for one reason or another? “It’s harmful not to dream” — you answered, not losing hope of getting what you wanted.

Why is it so important to have a dream?

Ideally, a dream motivates us to move forward, sets the direction for our attention. In the process of dreaming, our creative potential is revealed, and the areas of the brain associated with imagination are also activated. A dream activates creativity, and over time a person becomes more creative. Changes are also carried out at the physiological level — the human brain is replenished with a large number of neural connections.

But dreaming alone is not enough. You probably know such people (or maybe you are one of them) who believe in their dream, “meditate” on it, visualize it, but the dream does not come true. Why?

This is because the dream must be felt. Visualization must be accompanied by an emotional and physical response for the dream to become reality. I am sure you have heard such a recommendation from various specialists, including adherents of modern scientific concepts. But this is not a guarantee of the dream to come true!!!

DREAMS DO NOT COME TRUE! THEY ARE  BEING FULFILLED!

Moreover, we make them come true ourselves when we start to act and take steps towards their fulfillment.

To form a vivid image of what we want to receive (the image of a dream) is the beginning of the process of realization. Some people “get stuck” at this stage, endlessly reproducing in their heads what they want, even with emotions and physical sensations, even turning to the Higher Powers (the Universe/God/Creator) with prayers, but do not move on to action.

It happens like in a joke:

During a flood, Abram sits on the roof of a house and prays to God: “God, save me”. The water rises… A boat with rescuers floats up to the house. The rescuers shout: “Abram, jump into the boat, we will save you!” Abram answers: “No need, my God will save me!” The rescuers swim away to save others… The water is already at Abram’s feet, he continues to pray. Another boat with other rescuers swims up to the house. The rescuers shout: “Abram, jump into the boat, we will save you!” Abram replies: “No need, my God will save me!” The rescuers swim away to save others… Abram, entering Paradise, says to his God (offended): “God, I have always believed in you so much, prayed to you regularly, tried not to sin, why didn’t you save me when trouble happened to me???” To which God replied: “But I sent a boat for you twice!!!”

The same is with our dreams — we are given the opportunity to realize what we want in the outside world, and not just being served a “finished product” right to the couch on which we dream about it. It is necessary to take action — no one will get into the “boat” for us to realize, for example, the dream of salvation, as in the joke.

“Drawing” a dream in your head is the first step on the path to making it come true.

The second is to take action, using the opportunities that your intuition (if you like — the Universe / Higher Mind / Creator) will certainly provide you with.

Why is it impossible to fulfill a dream without an action?

I will answer with a metaphorical example. Imagine that you are a football fan. You like to follow the game of your favorite team, you often visit stadiums to enjoy the process of playing football. And so you bought a ticket for the match, came to the stadium, took your seat, you are in anticipation of the game. The commentator’s voice is heard, who announces: “The score is 2:3 in favor of …” The match is over. What will be your reaction? Most likely, you will be upset, because you came to see the whole game, to experience your emotions in the process – somewhere excitement, somewhere disappointment, somewhere delight, and not just to find out the score. Right?

And now imagine that you are not just a spectator, but you are a football player. You prepared, trained, went out onto the playing field. And you heard the score of the match from the commentator. Yes, the score is in favor of your team, but it was simply announced to you, you did not play. How do you like it?

The realization of our dream is also a “game”, for the sake of getting pleasure, for the sake of those emotions that you will experience during the game. Interest is why we play games, why we explore ourselves, our abilities, why we learn about this world, why we make our dreams come true.

But why do we refuse to follow our interest, what reasons prevent us from getting involved in the process of realizing our dream? This is a completely different story, the continuation of which you will find in the next publications.
