Back in 1988, the world changed forever with the release of The Naked Gun. The police comedy had audiences in stitches and quickly became a cult classic. More than 30 years later, news broke that Fuzzy Door Productions was developing a remake of the beloved film — with none other than Liam Neeson in the lead role.
The film is set for release in 2025, but until recently, no teasers or trailers had been released. Now, the official teaser has finally arrived, offering a fresh look at Neeson in action — along with glimpses of his co-stars and other colorful characters from the movie.
In one standout moment, Neeson’s character gazes at a portrait of his father — who, in a clever twist, appears to be the late Leslie Nielsen’s character from the original film. A surprising connection, suggesting that both films exist in the same cinematic universe.
