Some concerts are worth waiting years for — especially for those living abroad, far from home. London has long been known for its huge Russian-speaking community made up of Ukrainians, Belarusians, Russians, Kazakhs, and many other wonderful people from neighbouring countries. And one of the things that unites many of them is music — particularly the Ukrainian rock-band Nervy.
On November 17, the band performed at The Clapham Grand, and coincidentally, that same time the English company was celebrating their 125-year anniversary. The audience and the musicians marked the moment together by singing “Happy Birthday”.

The songs shook the venue like it was the last night on Earth — friends, couples, and long-time fans left feeling thrilled, although some admitted they wished they could’ve heard even more of their favourite tracks.

Nervy hit everyone right in the nerves, the heart, and of course the soul — because, as Milkóvskiy sings: “Look with your soul”.
