This year Disney is keeping up not only with other major film studios, but also with its own impressive track record. Earlier this year, the announcement of Zootopia 2 made huge waves, as fans had been waiting for a sequel for a very long time.

From the first teaser trailer, it became clear that one of the new central characters would be a Snake voiced by Ke Huy Quan, while the main heroes return once again to investigate a brand-new case.

Two trailers are already available online, and the film itself is now entering global release on November 28. Early reactions from both critics and audiences have been very positive.

For reference, the first film was a massive global hit, earning over $1 billion and winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature — which means the creators have quite a challenge ahead of them if they want to match the success of the original.
