Myths about heroes who overcome evil have existed for tens of centuries, captivating readers, viewers, and listeners since ancient times.

Almost everyone knows the myth of Odysseus — danger, family, courage and wisdom in this Greek tale teach us the most important lessons. Christopher Nolan once promised to bring this story to the big IMAX screen for all of us.

Matt Damon in peak form, alongside Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal, and many other stars, come together in a single film that tells the story of the hero’s perilous journey into an abyss of mystery and deception.

From the footage, we can already see incredibly beautiful costumes, breathtaking location-shot scenes — forests, deserts, and open water — and, of course, Hans Zimmer’s powerful score in the background.

Expect an epic cinematic experience in theaters on July 17, 2026.
