While others were busy talking, Amazon simply went ahead and made a series about an alternate version of Spider-Man — Spider-Noir, a character originally voiced by Nicolas Cage in the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
The series was filmed entirely in black and white, although a color version is also available to viewers. Cage himself was one of the strongest supporters of this creative decision, believing it helped young generation to compare two versions, and hopefully truly fall in love with black and white style of the series.

The story follows detective Ben Reilly, who is forced to put on the Spider-Noir suit once again after learning about a particularly intriguing new case.

The series features a wide range of characters and villains, a beautifully recreated retro New York City, and, of course, an outstanding cast. Joining Cage on screen is none other than Brendan Gleeson, who plays the villain Silvermane.

The show has received over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, with both critics and audiences praising the project. We highly recommend checking out this new television release on Prime Video!
