A few months ago, the world learned that Disney is preparing to release the third installment in the Tron franchise. Each film in the series takes place in a different time period — for example, the first movie was released back in 1982, while the sequel came out in 2010, bringing Jeff Bridges, the legend of this sci-fi universe, back to the screen.

The new film will focus on the story of the “Ares Program,” which is sent into the real world. The cast includes Evan Peters and Jared Leto himself, who will play Ares — a highly intelligent program created by Peters’ character, Julian.

The trailer looks thrilling, with special effects once again at the highest level. And of course, the signature neon-red visuals are as impressive as ever — after all, Tron is the embodiment of neon cyberpunk aesthetics. Just like the films themselves, this style was popular in the 1980s and continues to be popular today.

What do you think — are you ready for a new digital adventure on the big screen? Just a reminder: the film is set to release on October 10 this year!
