Who is she — the woman who analyzes every step she takes? And, of course, not only her own. Under her keen “microscope” fall the random gestures of others, the intonation of a loved one, the behavior of a colleague, and even the motives of those she has never personally known — characters from books, bloggers, or random passersby. She sees connections where others see chaos and looks for reasons where others simply live.
Each of us has paused at least once with the question: "Why again? Why does life throw troubles at me once more? Why can't I improve my finances, relationships, or health"? The answer is much deeper than it seems. All our problems are not a punishment. They're a way for the body to release tension.
Our body and psyche are parts of a unified system. In other words, what and how we think influences how we feel. Similarly, our bodily sensations impact the direction of our thoughts. In general, everything related to our sensations, emotions, and muscle tensions is part of an interconnected system with everything related to our thinking and state.
The philosophical concept of "Value System" implies that values are what a person values in the surrounding society. Is a person always aware of their values? Not always. Often, values exist on an unconscious level and include beliefs, motives, and benefits. In other words, values are "coded" in responses to the questions: Why? Why? For what purpose? For what?
Many treat their energy like water in a thermos: it seems if you tightly seal the lid and don’t spill it today, it will remain just as hot tomorrow. We cancel walks or workouts to "conserve energy", but end up waking up feeling even more exhausted and "cooled down".
Diagnose yourself honestly: how much energy do you spend daily trying to manage someone else's life? How many hours a week go to replaying other people's words in your mind, trying to anticipate your partner's reaction, or wanting to convince a colleague of your correctness?
Have you noticed a strange thing? We are constantly surrounded by noise, yet no one explains why silence has suddenly become dangerous for us. Why does your brain start to panic after just 12 seconds of stillness?
Remember how, in childhood, summer seemed like a lifetime? Three months filled with new discoveries, the scents of grandma's garden, and endless games in the yard. Every day was unique, new, and unlike the previous one. And now? In adulthood, it feels like we've been caught in an accelerating loop of time: “I blinked, and spring passed; I blinked, and autumn passed”. Why does this happen?
Why is apologizing painful? When we feel guilt, we often believe it’s the voice of our conscience. However, modern science asserts that guilt is not a moral compass but a signal of physical trauma.
According to modern psychological research, the millennia-old leader among human fears — thanatophobia (fear of death) — has unexpectedly given way. Now, reigning on the pedestal is a new, more insidious, and ubiquitous horror: the fear of losing meaning. This is not the fear that life will come to an end, but the fear that it never mattered. How does this global shift in priorities affect each of us?
