A teaser trailer for the new film by Gus Van Sant — the director of Good Will Hunting and Milk — was recently released. The main role is played by Bill Skarsgård, and a supporting character is portrayed by Al Pacino, who clearly has no intention of leaving the industry. Despite his advanced age of 85, the actor continues to appear in numerous projects.
The plot follows kidnapper Tony Kiritsis, who decides to abduct an important bank official and demand ransom.

The story slightly resembles Dog Day Afternoon, which also starred Al Pacino, although, of course, more than 45 years have passed since then.

Critics have given the film excellent reviews, and audiences note its incredibly engaging plot and storytelling — though, of course, we all love a good heist movie.

The film is set for wide release in January and, judging by early buzz, might even be an Oscar contender — something we’re truly happy for the creators about!
