In 2022, following the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel Studios began production on the series Ironheart, based on the comic book series of the same name. It tells the story of teenager Riri Williams, who becomes the successor to Tony Stark’s technology after his death.
The comic became a hit for Marvel, but whether the series will follow suit remains unknown. According to numerous rumors, the show’s marketing campaign is relatively low-key because the studio doesn’t have much faith in the project’s success. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily reflect the show’s quality, as it hasn’t premiered yet — the series is set to be released in June.
The story centers once again on Riri and her fight against the villain known as The Hood. In the future, the character may become a key figure for the Avengers and the Marvel Cinematic Universe overall — assuming the series succeeds.
The second trailer revealed more footage of Riri’s suit and how she interacts with the world while wearing it. So, what are your predictions, and what are you expecting from the new Marvel Studios series?
