Time flies. Sometimes you barely have a moment to look back — your comic gets published in stores, then suddenly it becomes a hit. A few years later, the story is adapted into a full TV series, and before you know it — as if it were only yesterday — the studio has already wrapped production on a feature film.
Milly Alcock will bring to the screen a new, reimagined version of Supergirl within James Gunn’s DC Universe. The story will explore the heroine’s origins, the tragedy of her home planet, and her battles against cosmic villains — all set to a score by Junkie XL.

Yes, composer Ramin Djawadi was recently replaced, and the reasons remain unclear. However, few doubt Junkie XL’s ability to craft powerful themes for female heroes, especially after his unforgettable musical epic in Wonder Woman.

Jason Momoa will take on the role of Lobo — something he is reportedly thrilled about, having expressed his desire to play the character since the days of Zack Snyder’s DCEU.

The film hits cinemas on June 26, and we believe the letter “S” won’t let us down!
