The 79th Cannes Film Festival is taking place right now — an iconic annual event that brings together some of the world’s biggest film stars, directors, critics, journalists, and simply incredibly creative people.
This year, the head of the jury is Park Chan-wook, the acclaimed director behind Oldboy, Lady Vengeance, The Handmaiden, and many other remarkable works. Just recently, John Travolta arrived at the ceremony looking refreshed, youthful, and smiling — unexpectedly accompanied by his daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta.

The reason for his appearance is that Travolta directed one of the films competing this year — Propeller: Night Flight. The screen legend was also awarded the prestigious Palme d’Or for his outstanding contribution to cinema.
