At CinemaCon, DC Studios was no exception in making major announcements, revealing many details about upcoming projects for this and next year. One of the films is Clayface, connected to the universe of James Gunn, and it will tell the personal origin story of one of Batman’s most iconic enemies — Clayface.

The character has previously appeared in animation and video games, but this will mark his first appearance on the big screen, which is exciting for fans.

The trailer looks mysterious and dark, showing different stages of the character’s transformation. According to the synopsis, he attempts to improve his acting career by taking a mysterious serum, only to transform into a clay-like creature.
Another major project is The Batman Part II by Matt Reeves, with filming set to begin early this summer. The cast is said to include Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan (well known from Marvel), reportedly taking on roles such as a romantic interest for one of the characters and Harvey Dent / Two-Face. Unlike Clayface, Two-Face has already been a very popular character on the big screen.

We’ll keep you updated on further news about these upcoming films. In the meantime, we wish the creators and the studio the best of luck with the production and development of these exciting stories!
