Year after year, moviegoers around the world come across a film — or even several films — in theaters that leave a lasting impression after watching, whether it’s sadness, incredible joy, or even a rush of adrenaline.
“The Drama” is one such film, and even from the title, it’s clear that watching it might not be easy. The plot tells the story of a young couple — Charlie(Robert Pattinson) and Emma(Zendaya) — preparing for their wedding, when suddenly, while sitting at a table with friends, a long-forgotten, dark, and terrifying secret about one of them comes to light.

Their relationship and wedding are now in jeopardy, and the young couple must face a test of loyalty, trust, and wisdom toward one another. Whether they can navigate this dark drama and stay together — viewers will only find out after watching it for themselves.

Christoffer Borgli’s film won’t have you laughing until you cry or give you butterflies in your stomach; however, it reminds us that true love is born when all the darkness comes to light, and yet one remains loved and accepted — honest.
