In 2020, Brad Pitt received his first — and so far only — acting Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The movie star portrayed a stuntman who was no longer young, yet undeniably cool and charismatic.
His name is Cliff Booth, and whenever you see Rick Dalton’s character (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) performing dangerous stunts — jumping cars from building to building — chances are it’s Cliff who’s actually on screen.

The film was released in 2019 and, as is well known, became a massive success. By 2024, Netflix had begun actively developing a sequel based on a script by Tarantino.
This time, the era has shifted. Instead of the bright, almost orange-tinted Los Angeles of the 1960s, audiences will be transported to a grittier, more yellow-stained and darker America of the 1970s — an aesthetic that feels right at home for Fincher.

Cliff now sports a moustache and a slightly different haircut, but remains just as charming and fun as ever.

The full plot is still under wraps, but the trailer is already available online — so go check it out!
